Costa Rica is a stunning country whose inhabitants like to claim is, the "happiest place on earth." It's bounded on both sides by oceans, the Caribbean Sea and the Pacific, each of which have influenced culture and the heritage of the people who live on the coasts. It's a lush land with verdant rain forests and overflowing rivers. A country that still has tribes which forego electricity yet a cell service grid that covers even the most remote villages.

Those who travel to Costa Rica do so mostly for the natural beauty, the adventure sports and the beautiful resorts. Places like Manuel Antonio National Park, the Monteverde Cloud Forest Reserve and the Arenal Volcano are must visits for natural enthusiasts.

A visit to a BriBri village near the Panama border will give a traveler a view into a less modern Costa Rica and resort living will allow one to experience the very best in luxury as the country does not disappoint in that aspect.

Laid back surfing towns like Puerto Viejo will allow you to connect with locals and with a slower pace of life. No matter the style of trip you choose, or the portion of the country you explore, you're bound to find happiness. It's practically a guarantee!
