Over the last few years, river cruising has been one of the fastest-growing segments in travel. Innovation, unfortunately, has not kept pace. As a result, cruising has earned its reputation of being too similar to all-inclusive vacations: buffet lines, gift shops and packed railings.

At G Adventures, we believe it means more to get it right than to be first. Today, we’re proud to provide a first glimpse at our newest roster of trips—a lineup that reimagines river cruising, opening up the interior of some of the world’s most interesting locales via fabled waterways such as the Amazon, the Ganges, the Mekong, and the canals that feed France’s wine country.

G Adventures river cruises will take small groups of travellers ashore and offer them access to remote communities, rare moments in nature on guided excursions, and local encounters with the people who have survived and thrived riverside for centuries. Each cruise features a G Adventures CEO and guides, all locally trained and focused on developing your understanding of the wildlife, cultures, and ecosystems of the surrounding area.
